New Concrete Mixers

Dudman Concrete

The Dudman Group of Companies has welcomed the arrival of several new concrete mixers to the fleet of vehicles.

Six new Mercedes Arocs 8×4 cement mixers with Hymix P-8000 mixer bodies have joined the fleet, which is now a mix of both six and eight cubic metre vehicles.

Hymix’s build programme included the installation of low profile LED beacon bars, white noise reverse alarms and rear view camera systems which now feature on all six new trucks. The new arrivals also all
come with a seal of approval from VOSA as they carry a Whole Vehicle Type Approval.

The new mixers not only come with the latest Hymix mixer body but all six Mercedes trucks have Euro 6* compliant engines, which are cleaner and have lower emissions. A significantly large drop in pollutant levels will be seen as a result of the new Euro 6 standard with over 99% reduction in particulate matter (PM) and over 97% reduction in nitrogen oxide (NOx). These lower pollutant levels also have beneficial effects that can mean better fuel economy and therefore lower CO2 emissions.

Having new mixers out on the roads, supplying concrete is a great opportunity to promote the updated Dudman Group branding. Prolific Graphics used structured wrapping to integrate the cab and mixer body which has resulted in an eye-catching vehicle which will be seen across Sussex and Hampshire.

The new mixers will ensure that the Dudman Group can continue to provide a streamlined and quality concrete service across the South.

*As of September, 2015 all new petrol and diesel vehicles must meet Euro 6 standards for exhaust emissions of NOx and other pollutants. The Euro 6 standard applies to the levels of nitrogen oxide (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (THC/NMHC) and particulate matter (PM).
